Deleting your account

Tap your profile picture in the app → Delete account, or follow the steps on skoolgenie.com/delete-account. Everything we hold about you is removed.

Who we are

Skool Genie (“we”, “us”) is run from India by Rishi. For anything about your data, email rishipanna2009@gmail.com.

What we store

• Your account — your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google. If you use email login we only get your email.
• Your study progress — tests you take and your answers, concept mastery, streaks and badges, saved items, your study plan, goals and tasks, and the class / exam you picked.
• Genie chat memory — what you ask the Genie tutor and short notes it keeps (for example your weak topics) so its answers fit you.
• Payments — if you buy Pro, we store your plan, its validity date, the amount, and the Razorpay order / payment ID (and, if you submit one to activate Pro, the payment ID you entered).
• Question reports — if you report a mistake in a question, we keep that report.

Payments go through Razorpay

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, bank login or CVV — you enter those on Razorpay's page, and Razorpay only tells us whether the payment succeeded, the amount and the payment ID. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the details you give them.

Why we use it

• To run the app: keep you signed in, sync your progress across devices, and show your results, plan and predictions.
• To unlock Pro for the period you paid for, answer payment questions (e.g. a double charge).
• To improve questions, notes and the Genie (for example fixing reported errors).
• To reply when you email us.

We don't show ads, and we don't use your data to build advertising profiles.

Where it lives

Your account and synced data are stored with Supabase in their Mumbai (India) region. The website is served by Vercel. These providers process data only to run the service for us.

Cookies and local storage

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to save app state (your progress, settings, theme, plan status) so the app is fast and works offline. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with the providers above (Supabase, Vercel, Razorpay) to run the service, or if Indian law requires us to.

How long we keep it

While your account is active. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.

Your choices — including deleting your account

• You can use most of Skool Genie without signing in; then your progress stays only on your device.
• To see, correct or delete your account and data, email rishipanna2009@gmail.com from the email you signed in with. We'll confirm and delete it (except payment records we must keep by law), usually within 7 days.
• Clearing your browser data removes what's stored on that device.

Students under 18

Skool Genie is made for school students. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian's knowledge, especially before buying Pro. A parent can ask us to delete a child's account at any time by emailing rishipanna2009@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be announced in the app.
